We specialise in civil construction, mass commercial landscape planting and large-scale revegetation works. Our unmatched expertise sets the benchmark in the Australian tree planting industry, driving sustainable, long-term benefits for the environment and the communities we serve.
Mass planting for Tier 1 and Tier 2 civil construction projects is our bread and butter. With a large EBA-compliant, rail-certified team, we make planting on major roads, railways, and large infrastructure projects a breeze.
Not only do we have internal quality and safety controls, but we also have an allocated administration officer ensuring all our planters have up-to-date certificates and site-specific inductions.
At Thicket we understand the stop-start nature of major civil works and are flexible to changing dates and delays. We have dedicated site managers who lead our large civil jobs from start to finish. They’re experts at reading site plans, taking delivery, plant identification, effective communication and time management.
Whether it be a road or rail, school or hospital, prison or port, we’ve done it before and it shows.
We work directly with landscapers, councils, and nursery partners to deliver parklands, reserves, data centres, warehouses, rain gardens and more—transforming urban development projects and new estates into functional, beautiful, and sustainable environments.
No matter if the job involves mass planting hundreds of thousands of tubestock grasses and shrubs, or installing, staking and tying larger streetscape trees, we have the right personnel and equipment to get any project over the line. Our experienced teams work autonomously to manage deliveries, conduct plant identification, markup, setout, transport, and planting, even for the most complicated and high-spec projects.
In addition to planting we offer comprehensive commercial ecological management services – installing jute, turf, geofab, bird netting, tree stakes & ties, guards, wells, coaches, and anchors.
Our management team prioritises prompt, professional communication and works with you to stay inside of your budget and timelines.
We provide planting solutions for bush regeneration, revegetation, and carbon offset work for councils, landscapers, developers, and Tier 1 contractors. Additionally, we work regionally on forestry and carbon credit projects, within national parks, farmland and other large landholdings.
From creek rehabilitation planting on the Gold Coast, to carbon credit planting in Bendigo, we’ve done it all.
We take pride in delivering our clients high plant success rates, a highly experienced and dedicated planting team, comprehensive safety and quality reporting, with clear and transparent pricing.
As Australia’s leading mass planting contractor, we have multiple projects running concurrently across the country, and have dedicated teams installing thousands of tubestock, tree guards and jute squares every single day.
Our revegetation and carbon offset planting, especially across Brisbane and SEQ, often involves environmental protection zones, handling delicate planting stock, and working carefully within natural bushland to enhance the ecosystem.
By utilising specialised planting techniques, and adhering to environmental protection policies, we offer a fast and efficient solution for all revegetation, regeneration and carbon offset planting.
We ensure our team meets all safety and regulatory standards when working in environments where young people are present.
Our crew is licensed to work on major rail infrastructure projects across Australia, meeting all compliance standards.
Our team is trained and certified in Working at Heights, allowing us to manage projects that involve elevated areas safely and effectively.
This certification ensures that we adhere to national safety protocols, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment on every job.
Our comprehensive SWMS and WH&S plan empowers our teams to work autonomously while giving clients assurance that all safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
Our staff maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications to help ensure safety during tree planting activities.
Join the movement for a greener, more sustainable Australia.
For select projects, we can both supply the plants and assist with the takeoff, markups and delivery. We’re able to lean on our long standing industry relationships with nurseries, councils, distributors and landscapers to ensure you get the plants and materials to site, when and where you need it!
Getting 100,000 tubestock delivered to a fully prepared basin or wetland is a dream come true. But we’re in the contract planting business – we understand it doesn’t always work out that way. Often stages of a project are delivered in pieces, or the nursery can’t fill orders all at once. We’re more than happy to split our time and resources over multiple visits to suit your needs.
Instead of the traditional pottiputki, we use the forestry technique to plant trees, grasses and shrubs at scale. In the right hands, not only do our specialised forestry shovels save us time and you money, but allow each plant the best possible chance at survival.
Ground conditions can vary greatly, from gravel mulch, clay, sand, to topsoil. However on average, we are able to plant 75,000 tubestock per day, in each state that we operate in.
In short, no. We bring it all! All of our teams are equipped with the tools to get the job done right. We utilise plant augers, manual and petrol stake drivers, staple guns, and plant trolleys.
